Must Have Kitchen Tools

This is where things get fun! Kitchen gadgets and tools!

I personally recommend the Vitamix blender, but there are other good blenders out there.I like the Vitamix because it has a very powerful motor for blending nuts, such as cashews, for cheesy sauces. It actually heats the contents when on full speed and you can see steam when you open the lid!

Tofu Press

I've discovered that I absolutely love tofu! It's such a great source of protein to add to any dish. You will need to press it to remove the excess water, otherwise it won't absorb flavor. I own two of these TofuXpress. It also comes with a lid so you can marinate the tofu right in the press!

Dutch Oven

I make a lot of soups and stews. It's so nice to cook a meal using only one pot. I bought a dutch oven like this one years ago, but not this exact one. The cast iron build makes it perfect for withstanding high heat and also for frying "chicken". We'll get to that later! I also use it when I bake bread.

Hand Blender

This handheld blender and attachments come in so handy! You can blend soups and sauces right in the the pot. The chopper attachment for quickly chopping spices, nuts and a small amount of veggies.

Food Processor

A food processor is nice, but not necessary. It's great for shredding root vegetables, slicing cabbage or making zucchini rounds. It also works well when you don’t have a Vitamix or other high speed blender.

Asian dishes are a staple in my house. There are so many different flavors to be explored. These recipes are also the easiest to convert to plant based. Because of this, a good wok is a must for me!

Air Fryer

I love my air fryer! I really like this one because it's several appliances in one.

I will never ever, ever pan fry tofu again. It comes out so crispy on all sides! No flipping and babysitting a pan. It's great for reheating tofu that's been saved in the fridge as well. Just pop it in for about five minutes at 375 degrees.

Basically anything that you want to fry with little to no oil, you can do with an air fryer.
